True Gospel

True Gospel began in April 2003 right here in Cumberland Gap, TN. Founding members included Ferlin and Carolyn Daniels, Elizabeth Daniels, Brian Daniels, Matthew Massengill and Derek Massengill. Later Alan Powers and Kenny Brown joined the group as instrumentalists. In 2006, due to an increase in traveling, True Gospel was reformed with only 3 members. Brian Daniels singing Tenor, Derek Massengill on the Lead, and Matthew Massengill as the Baritone. In 2008, Jeffrey Webb began traveling with us as our bass player and product manager. True Gospel continues to travel and minister all over the United States and has had the opportunity to sing with some of the most recognizable artists in Gospel Music today. Throughout the years we have shared the stage with Brian Free and Assurance, Karen Peck and New River, The Hoppers, and several other groups. It is a privilege for us to stand night after night and tell folks of a Savior who gave his life freely. He is the reason we sing, He is our everything.

Pauline Patterson

Pauline Patterson has been in the business of promoting gospel music for four years now. She is no stranger to this industry. Aside from singing southern and country gospel for most of her life, she has been on both sides of the table. First, as a DJ at WFSR in Harlan, KY and now as the promoter. Patterson Promotions has represented such groups as: The Greesons, The Kirklands, The Browders, Wendy Word & Forgiven, HisSong, Latter Glory, Enlisted, Sunday Drive, and the list continues to grow. The Lord has blessed Pauline to help these groups and many more, to showcase their ministry to radio all across this nation. For that we say, "To God be the Glory!" Pauline still pursues her solo career as well as her business. In the past, she has recorded seven albums as a soloist. She has also sang with her sister, Wanda, and her niece, Sharon as Latter Glory. They released two radio singles ("Jesus Walks Down Main Street" and "God Had To Bring Me Here") that were high charting songs for both Singing News and Gospel Music News publications. It is Pauline's desire to promote the Gospel in whatever way she can. In all things, we give Him praise... To God Be The Glory!

UNITYS Picture for website.jpg

Unity

Unity started out singing in Tackett Fork Freewill Baptist Church (our home). At first we were just a small band that sang some of the older favorites such as "Beullah Land" and "Ain't No Grave"; and then later beginning to experiment with newer songs. Before we knew it, The Lord had blessed us with many of our own songs, and now today God has given us the opportunity to travel to many places and witness to others through song and praise. Though we have been through many valleys and have traveled the roughest of roads, the Lord has given us strength and has blessed Mikey with his very own recording studio in which we do our recording and make our own Cassette Tapes and CD's. We believe that in our singing ministries we have one goal and one purpose and that is to see souls saved; and without our Lord Jesus it would not be possible for us to witness to those lost souls. So we would like to take the time and Thank God for the many blessings that he has poured out for us and for the opportunity that he has given us!
